James Gandolfini has been gone for over a year now, but he'll never be forgotten.
That's because his memory still lives on with his family, especially with his son Michael Gandolfini.
Michael walked the red carpet at the 2014 Toronto Film Festival this past weekend to see the premiere of his father's final film, The Drop.
When asked about his dad's acting legacy, Michael opened up about the past year, saying:
"I'm just really proud of him. He loved acting. He loved being an actor. I know how hard he worked and I love how hard he worked.
So I love seeing him, but at the same time it's hard."
Awwwww. That's so sad, but also so well-spoken and poignant for a 14-year-old.
The Drop co-stars Tom Hardy and Noomi Rapace, and is set for release on Sept. 12th.
We bet your father would be just as proud of you, Michael.
