Well, that was quick!
Just last week, it was reported that James McAvoy was splitting from his wife Anne-Marie Duff after nine years of marriage.
But it looks like the actor might already be moving on!
According to reports, McAvoy has recently gotten “close” with his X-Men: Apocalypse costar Alexandra Shipp.

An inside source told The Daily Mirror:
“It’s no great secret how they’ve got close. James has been quite open among the cast and crew that his marriage was over ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ and it seems he has struck up a friendship with Alex since then.”
The “friendship” between the two has reportedly blossomed over the past few months while filming internationally, and the pair was seen getting discreetly cosy together at an X-Men: Apocalypse party.
The insider added:
“It’s been the source of some gossip among those connected to the film ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ but they’ve kept things low key.”
We don’t blame them — Charles Xavier hooking up with Storm would certainly stir up some gossip amongst the other mutants!
Of course, James could also just need a friend to help him get through the hard times — but isn’t that what Daniel Radcliffe is for?
