James Van Der Beek Speaks Out For Digestive Issues

James Van Der Beek, former Dawson’s Creek star is heading a new campaign.
He is now the spokesperson for Voices of UC (Ulcerative Colitis).
His mother suffered from UC, which is a chronic condition of the digestive system. It can be very painful and embarrassing for many since they may not want to stray too far from the bathroom.
According to papa Van Der Beek, James’ mother suffered in silence with this condition because she was too ashamed to talk about it.
Now that he knows, James wants to raise awareness of UC and make sure people talk to their doctors about it because their are cures!
Aw, how sweet!
