James Van Der Beek is mounting a come back, that’s for sure, and perhaps a little reinvention is at hand as well??
First we saw him in a Ke$ha video, then we interviewed him, then he announced the pilot (which hasn’t aired yet) called Don’t Trust The Bitch In Apartment 23, and now we’re seeing clips from a cool looking, slightly bizarre film called The Big Bang!
Also, in a lot of those projects, he’s either playing a version of himself or an actor, and if we take a page from Scream 4, that’s what we call being “meta.”
In The Big Bang, homeboy plays an actor with a strange and specific fetish. Ch-ch-check out the clip of it above!
He stars alongside Antonio Banderas, and Snoop Snoop-a-loop Dogg, in a movie about a PI looking for a lost girl that turns into a fight to help the survival of the world!
Sounds and looks interesting to us! We’ll definitely check it out!
We hope the come back sticks, James! Yeah!
