This is actually amazing!
Any American Horror Story fans probably know who Jamie Brewer is, but the fashion industry is about to get their introduction!
The actress will be making history as New York Fashion Week‘s first ever model with Down syndrome.
On Thursday, Jamie will be rocking a Carrie Hammer original down the catwalk for the designer’s “Role Models Not Runway Models” campaign.

And she even revealed in a recent interview with Today:
“Young girls and even young women…[see me] and say ├óΓé¼╦£hey, if she can do it so can I. It’s a true inspiration being a role model for any young women to [encourage them] in being who they are and showing who they are.”
While Jamie didn’t share what she would be wearing, we do know it will be inspired by AHS! She continued:
“It’s amazing, it’s really neat. Many women have many sides to their personality, this dress fits…mine. I am honored to be in it.”
We can’t wait to see — and we really hope other designers take note! Can you imagine if more would follow Hammer’s lead??
Awesome wouldn’t even begin to describe it.
Oh, and ch-ch-check out a couple pics of the 30-year-old getting glammed out for the runway in the gallery (above)!
