Looks like Jamie Foxx is off the hook.
As we’ve been reporting recently, a woman came went to the police alleging that Foxx slapped her in the face with his penis back in 2002.

Las Vegas PD (where the alleged incident supposedly took place) investigated the 16-year-old claims thoroughly, but they’ve run into some problems — namely, the statute of limitations has run out on any criminal charges from the alleged incident.
The assault case here, if there’d been one, had a three-year statute of limitations, and it’s long since been past. Furthermore, the statute of limitations on bringing a civil suit against Foxx has also run out, so the woman’s allegations, whether true or false, really can’t amount to much as far as the legal system is concerned.
For what it’s worth, Foxx has always denied the allegations anyways, at one point calling it “an absurd lie.” He also has threatened a counter-suit of his own to prove his innocence.
Doesn’t look like any of that is going to be necessary, as the statute of limitations here pretty much dictates nothing will come from this either way.
Case closed…
