Jamie Lee Curtis Calls Out Fiji Water For 'Blatant Promotions' On Golden Globes Red Carpet

Yikes, we didn’t see this one coming!
Jamie Lee Curtis made it clear on Instagram that she DEFINITELY wasn’t a fan of the now-viral Fiji Water girl (AKA Kelleth Cuthbert) on the Golden Globes red carpet, who appeared in the back of many red carpet shots holding a tray of the water bottles.

Apparently, the actress was aware of the girl on step-and-repeat and attempted to position herself away from her for photos, but her husband showed her a CNN article about the story, including one shot of the two.
Read her IG caption slamming the promotions from Fiji and Moët & Chandon (below):

“So, my husband, who doesn’t look at a lot of show business news sites, just mentioned that I was on the CNN website. I specifically moved away from the blatant promotions by Fiji and Moet where young women with their trays filled with their wares stood near a designated camera. I knew why there was a photographer poised there and I moved away as I said out loud that I didn’t want to be doing advertising for either. Clearly this angle shows that I moved from her being behind me and yet from the side it still happens. The sponsors of events need to get permission from people when they get them to take their picture next to products.”

Most of the reactions have been pretty LOL-worthy to Fiji’s PR stunt, so this was a bit of a surprise!
What do you think, Perezcious readers?! Does she have grounds to be upset or should she let it go? Sound off (below) and let us know!!
