On Friday, it was revealed that Jamie Lee Curtis is returning to the Halloween franchise to reprise her iconic role. YASSSSS!

After Blumhouse dropped the news via Twitter, the actress also took to social media to confirm her return as she wrote:
“Same porch. Same clothes. Same issues. 40 years later. Headed back to Haddonfield one last time for Halloween. Release date 10/19/18.”
So exciting!! David Gordon Green and Danny McBride are behind the script for the latest installment. Green has also been tapped to direct the project.
