As do we, Sue Sylvester. As do we!
It didn’t take long beforeGlee creator Ryan Murphy and superstar Kristin Chenoweth to pull out their big guns against the disgusting Newsweek article written by Ramin Setoodeh claiming gay actors could not play straight roles convincingly.
Now, one of the Glee stars and out lesbian Jane Lynch is applauding her peers for making statements backing not only her show, but her community. She says
├óΓé¼┼ôThe thing is, actors are actors: You can├óΓé¼Γäót play gay anymore than you can play somebody who├óΓé¼Γäós Catholic. Aaron Sorkin wrote a wonderful thing in the Huffington Post. I don├óΓé¼Γäót think you have to slap somebody down for making an opinion that you don├óΓé¼Γäót agree with. But I do think what Kristin and Ryan did was so important, and I├óΓé¼Γäóm glad that they said it. It doesn├óΓé¼Γäót mean, ├óΓé¼╦£Off with [Setoodeh’s] head.├óΓé¼Γäó But I├óΓé¼Γäóm very glad, and I thought it was very heroic what the two of them did.├óΓé¼┬¥
Bravo! Classy! Well said!
