Well, this is not the kind of plot twist Pretty Little Liars fans were hoping for!
Janel Parrish, the beloved actress who stole scenes for years on the hit mystery drama, is reportedly calling it quits with her husband Chris Long. And yes, the tea is already piping hot. According to insiders who spoke to TMZ on Thursday about it, the two have actually been separated for a few months now, quietly going their separate ways while keeping things low-key in public. Oh, no!

The pair’s love story once looked like something straight out of a Hallmark movie. They began dating back in September 2016, got engaged the following year, and tied the knot in 2018 in a dreamy Hawaiian ceremony. Seriously, it was giving fairytale vibes at the time! But fast forward to now, and it seems that fairytale has come to an unexpected end.
Fans had started to notice something might be off for a little while now. For one, Janel hasn’t shared much, if anything, about Chris in quite a while on her social media. Plus, she shared this, uh, inneresting post last month alluding to Miley Cyrus‘ hit breakup song:

Meanwhile, Chris still has plenty of love-filled posts featuring Janel on his Instagram, including one from about six months ago where he toasted to seven years together. Awkward timing, much?
Despite the split, it doesn’t look like there’s any major drama exploding into the public eye just yet. The two don’t share children, which could make this transition a bit less complicated, too — at least on paper.
Still, breakups are never easy, especially when they come after years of love and commitment. Here’s hoping both Janel and Chris find happiness in whatever comes next!
