Courageous workers at the nuclear plant damaged by the tsunami have stopped the leak that was poisoning the water and air in the devastated country.
This is important news for everyone, as it means that the country can begin the process of getting things back to normal without having to worry about more and more radiation seeping into the environment.
Fisherman have been especially affected by the tsunami and resulting radiation crisis, as there have been concerns over fish being infected with radiation. The government has imposed new regulations on the industry as a precaution.
