Jared Fogle's Ex-Wife Sues Subway Claiming The Company Knew About His 'Sexual Interest In Children'

Jared Fogle‘s ex-wife Kathleen McLaughlin filed a lawsuit on Monday claiming Subway knew its longtime spokesperson was a pedophile.
As we’re sure you’re aware, the 39-year-old pleaded guilty to charges of child pornography and engaging in sexual conduct with a minor and was sentenced to 15 years in prison last November.
During a press conference today, the mother-of-two claimed the fast food chain received at least one complaint of Fogle’s “depravities” and “sexual interest and activity with children” many years ago, but did nothing about it.
In fact, McLaughlin says the company just covered up the accusations with a PR campaign labeling Fogle as a “family man” — using Kathleen and the couple’s kids in its advertising without a contractual agreement.

Further, had Subway reported a 2004 complaint against Fogle — which alleged Jared approached a young girl at a promotional event in Las Vegas and solicited a sex act — McLaughlin says she may not have made the decision to marry him in 2010.
The suit says Subway was “driven by sales rather than the safety of kids” as they still sent Fogle into schools across the country despite his disgusting behavior.
Subway has declined to comment on the pending suit.
