Jared Leto Is Being Sued By Penthouse!

no title
Awww, yeah.
Jared Leto is being sued by Penthouse! Probably for never showing off that infamous “Praetorian guard’s helmet” in the magazine’s pages, right?
No, sadly, it’s for something way less sexy — copyright infringement. And not even for the nudie mag.

The Suicide Squad star’s Paradox LLC is being sued for using the trademark of OMNI, the science magazine founded by Penthouse’s Bob Guccione in 1978. Apparently there have been reports Leto is planning a science fiction anthology using the name OMNI.
The lawsuit argues that the use of the OMNI trademark is to purposely confuse potential viewers who might recognize the name and assume association with the classic magazine, which ran science fiction stories until shutting down in 1998. Co-defendant Jerrick Media, with whom Leto is partnering, says the lawsuit is “without merit.”
Without dick pics, def. Without merit? That may be tougher to prove…
