Kobe Bryant Continues His Jason Collins Support!!

Kobe Bryant was one of the first people to tweet out support and respect for Jason Collins’ decision to reveal himself as a gay NBA player!
Continuing that support, Kobe has expanded his words and admiration for such courage, and has spoken at An Unforgettable Evening benefiting EIF’s Women’s Cancer Research Fund, saying that he believes Jason has paved the way for other gay athletes to be open about their sexuality!
Here’s what he said:

“The biggest key is for everybody to be comfortable being themselves. That’s really the big key. You don’t want to walk around feeling like you’re just a shell of yourself. I think him coming out was really brave. As his peers we have to support him, just rally around him and hopefully everybody else comes out and be themselves in who they are.”

Amazingly put, Kobe!
We hope others listen to YOU instead of people like Atlanta Falcons’ Asante Samuel, who just doesn’t understand what he’s talking about but continues to talk anyway!
