Not good, boy! Not good AT ALL!
Jason Kidd, who only justed signed a $9.5 million deal with the Knicks earlier in July, was arrested early this morning in Southampton, NY after crashing his car into a telephone pole!
According to authorities, the former Dallas Mavericks player was driving intoxicated when the accident occured around 1:56am. Thankfully, he was alone, and after being briefly hospitalized to treat minor injuries, he was processed at the local police station and arraigned on a misdemeanor DWI charge at the Town Justice Court before being released on his own recognizance.
Such a foolish and avoidable accident!
And for someone with another BABY on the way!
We just hope he realizes how lucky he was that his HUGE lapse in judgment didn’t get him – or anyone else – anymore seriously injured.
