Jason Sudeikis knows fatherhood comes before show business.
The Son of Zorn star had to cancel his appearance on Harry Connick Jr.‘s new talk show last Tuesday for a good reason — his fianc├â┬⌐e Olivia Wilde was giving birth to their daughter Daisy.

So, when the Saturday Night Live alum stopped by Friday’s Harry instead, he couldn’t stop gushing about his baby girl, saying:
“I was supposed to be here at 4. [Daisy] came out at 3:39. She does not care about show business, but she will!”
The 41-year-old revealed that days before Olivia gave birth, she had a scary false alarm when the couple was on their way to see a Beyoncé concert!
Sudeikis told the host:
“Daisy was born on Tuesday, but on Friday night, [Olivia] and I were going out├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥date night. This is how confident of a lady Olivia is: She’s like, ‘Date night, we’re going to go see Beyonc├â┬⌐.’ So, we were in line to get in the Lincoln Tunnel and there was an accident in there… we would have been a half hour late to the concert.”
As if their date night wasn’t going bad enough, that’s when Olivia’s contractions began!

He continued:
“We U-turned and got it out of there. We figured it would be a bad scene to have the baby in a tunnel├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥and a little redundant!”
Ha! The couple then “hightailed it” to a hospital and walked around the neighborhood a little:
“Then, Daisy calmed down. I think she was just fired up. Just sitting there doing the [Single Ladies] dance, like, ‘I know where I’m going!'”
Well, we have a good feeling what Daisy’s first concert is going to Bey be!
