Former NBA Player Turns Himself In Arrested For Murder Charges

Former NBA player Javaris Crittenton, who was suspended from the Washington Wizards after bringing a firearm into the locker room, has been arrested after being charged with murder.

Authorities in Atlanta, Georgia believe Crittenton is responsible for the August 19th murder of a 22-year-old woman who was shot as she was walking on the street in the city.

The former basketball star, who played for Georgia Tech in college, had fled to Los Angeles with a one-way ticket, but agreed to turn himself in after being charged.

Before he could turn himself in, however, FBI apprehended him at John Wayne Airport in Southern California on Monday night.

At least they got him one way or the other.
