This is a huge bummer!
Javier Bardem, the best part of any movie he’s in, has had to close down his family restaurant La Bardemcilla because of economic woes, including “two years of prolonged losses.”
Here’s what he said:
“Like many small businesses, including many small firms in this country that no-one rescues, La Bardemcilla is closing its doors.”
Unfortunately that means that 11 people are losing their jobs, but there is still another restaurant they own in the city, so the family members have a place to continue their work as it’s remaining open.
What crappy news!
Let’s hope the other joint stays open!
