Jax Taylor Claims Lance Bass Is LYING About Him Stepping Down From Their Company!

jax taylor responds to lance bass' accusations about business

Even MORE drama is brewing in the world of Vanderpump Rules!

As you’ve likely seen, Bravo cleaned house, firing Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute after accusations of racism came to light from former cast member Faith Stowers, including being called names and in one scary incident having the police called on her for a crime she did not commit.

Despite Faith making accusations against Jax Taylor and his wife Brittany Cartwright as well, they somehow escaped the bloodbath in which two other cast members, Max Boyens and Brett Caprioni, were also fired from the series over past racist tweets.

Though his business partner Lance Bass doesn’t think it will be long before we see the end of Mr. Taylor on VPR, we apparently don’t know the full story — at least according to Jax!

Jax’s version of the situation doesn’t exactly line up with what Lance said on Monday.

On his podcast, The Daily Popcast With Lance Bass, the titular N*SYNC alum revealed their mixer brand, Just Add X, had dropped the reality star to keep clean of the controversy.

He revealed in a lengthy discussion of the scandal:

“It’s gonna cost him everything and he’s stepping down from Just Add X, which you know, we have to. We can’t be involved and associated with any of this going down. We have to do the right thing.”

But Taylor doesn’t seem to think any of that happened at all… his rep shared with E! News:

“Last week the Just Add X website had been hacked, showcasing some hateful slurs, which Jax felt horrible about. In an emotional state, Jax had texted Lance and the Just Add X team offering to step down from the company if that was the direction they wanted to take. The team immediately followed up with a phone call with Lance and the team reassured and fully supported him.”

Hmmm… They “fully supported him”? Doesn’t sound like it.

Lance certainly made it sound like the company forced Jax out… Was that just to save face?

If they can’t even agree on whether their business partnership ended, we don’t like the odds for their personal relationship! The statement continued:

“It was decided that Jax would continue to stay on the team and that they all had his back given these unpredictable times. The statements from Lance on the podcast today are not only untrue but also extremely confusing and shocking to say the least. Jax is still very much a partner and founder of Just Add X and supports the team and the brand whole-heartedly. This has been a tough time for everyone involved, especially with the critical state of Brittany’s mother in the ICU, their focus has been on that.”

Wow, Jax still thinks he’s part of the company?!

Definitely sounds like there were some wires crossed here!
