Is Lisa Vanderpump down another SURver??
This appears to be the case as, during Monday evening’s finale of Vanderpump Rules, longtime employee Jax Taylor offered up his resignation. *GASP*

Although, since LVP IS the queen of rehiring slackers, we’re curious to see how long this schism lasts…
Regardless, in addition to Jax’s quitting SUR, lots of other drama went down. Not only did we witness Jax and Brittany Cartwright navigate life following their split, but we watched as Stassi Schroeder‘s (now ex) boyfriend Patrick Meagher make an ass out of himself in front of Vanderpump.
Despite being the one to dump Brittany, Jax decided he wasn’t going to make the process easy on her — as he planned to move into an apartment in their complex. This, understandably, left Brittany peeved:
“Jax was like, ├óΓé¼╦£If I’m moving out, I’m probably gonna stay in the same building.’ … If Jax is gonna stay in the apartment building I might leave the apartment building.”
Girl, get out! Run as fast as you can!!
(Although, we know Brittany didn’t take our advice, as she and Jax have since reunited.)
After a meet and greet at what’s to be Lisa, Ken Todd, Tom Schwartz, and Tom Sandoval‘s TomTom bar, the VPR gang headed over to Pump for an after-party. During the outing, Brittany revealed that she’s already eyeing new SUR bartender Adam Spott for a romantic rebound.
The Kentucky native gushed:
“I never texted a guy and had them be as respectful as Adam has. I texted him a few hours after I was single.”
Proving he’s so very “respectful,” Spott added:
“I’m not trying to cause problems ├óΓé¼┬ª She’s beautiful. I’ve said that. And, just like, a good person.”
However, the flirtatious fun came to an end when Brittany informed Jax that he can’t just move “down the hall.” The ever stubborn Bravolebrity rudely reminded Brittany that she didn’t own the building and he can do whatever he wants.
Jax also had a tense sit down with his employer, as he had previously told Lisa and Ken to “fuck off” and flipped them off. With tears in his eyes, Mr. Taylor confessed to Vanderpump:
“I really am sorry. I’ve ruined everybody’s life. I have. I don’t know what to do anymore.”
Clearly tapped out of empathy for the Bravo troublemaker, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills vet snapped:
“Grow the fuck up.”
She then savagely informed Jax that she didn’t want to fire him, as that would give him the satisfaction of playing the “victim.” Thus, she suggested that he hand her his “fucking resignation” — and he did!
Like the boss she is, Lisa then turned around and informed the recently rehired James Kennedy that SUR was in need of a new bartender. Oh snap!
Nonetheless, the oddest moment from the episode came when Stassi’s boyfriend at the time continually objectified Lisa. For some reason, Patrick felt it was appropriate to comment on Vanderpump’s ass FOUR TIMES. He started off is uncomfortable quips with:
“I liked watching you walk away, to be honest with you.”
When Lisa tried to swat away the remarks with jokes, Patrick doubled down and noted:
“Oh no, I was definitely saying your ass.”
Ugh. Dude, stop it.
Patrick went on to make comments about Lisa’s body, which left undeniable tension between Stassi, her boyfriend, and her former employer. Lisa made her feelings on the matter perfectly clear, as she stated in a confessional:
“What is your problem? I’m old enough to be his mother and he hits on me in front of his girlfriend who also used to work for me.”
PREACH! Thankfully, Stassi and Patrick split for good in August 2017.
