Jay Cutler Broke His Thumb, Now He Need Surgery

Bummer!
Jay Cutler broke his thumb, which had to hurt to begin with, and now he needs surgery!
The dude seems to get hurt ALL the time! He had that MCL injury last year — which people scoffed at for him not being tough enough. We can only imagine how they’re taking this news… because he’s supposed to be out for an extended period (which is hopefully not the whole season), because the thumb is on his throwing hand!
To the fans, we say, yeah that sucks but wouldn’t you want him to be in the best shape possible?? And who knows, maybe his replacement, Caleb Hanie, will do well!
Apparently Jay sacrificed the thumb to prevent a touchdown, so at least it wasn’t for a lame reason, right?
