JAY-Z might regret giving this advice!
When the rapper was accused of raping a 13-year-old with Diddy in an amended lawsuit over the weekend, he vehemently denied the allegations while slamming the lawyer, Tony Buzbee, and the anonymous victim for what he called a “blackmail attempt.” In his statement, he also wondered why they hadn’t filled a criminal case given the gruesome alleged crimes, saying:
“These allegations are so heinous in nature that I implore you to file a criminal complaint, not a civil one!! Whomever would commit such a crime against a minor should be locked away, would you not agree?”
Well, it looks like the alleged victim just might take him up on this…

In a statement to TMZ on Tuesday, Tony revealed he hasn’t ruled out filing a criminal complaint against JAY-Z or Diddy, but it’s up to his client:
“What happens next is up to my client. It’s her case and what she decides to do you will find out in due course.”
There is no statute of limitations for first-degree felony rape complaints, per the outlet, so while this incident allegedly took place in 2000, it’s still an option. We’ll have to wait and see if she goes this route.
In the meantime, JAY-Z is throwing everything he’s got at this case, asking a judge to dismiss the case or order the alleged victim to reveal her identity… all while going about his life as usual. His pal, on the other hand, is stuck in jail for a slew of other charges.
