Breaking up is never easy to do, and Jay Z is learning that the hard way!
Don’t worry! Hova and Beyonc├â┬⌐ aren’t splitting anytime soon! But his relationship with the Brooklyn Nets is coming to an end!
Jay has already been forced to sell his share of the franchise after the NBA felt his affiliation with Roc Nation Sports was a conflict of interest!
Well, now it looks like he’s also going to have to sell his share of the arena they play in as well, the Barclays Center!
Jay owns about one fifth of a percentage of of the arena, which may not sound like a lot. But the Barclays Center was the top grossing venue in the country this year and is said to be worth $741 million, meaning he’ll still earn about $1.5 million!
Not bad!!
Overall, this will probably end up being a good move for Hov, who’s looking to further his career as a sports agent!
Still, it’s going to be super awkward when these two pass each other on the street and are forced to make small talk!
