Ugh. This is going to be a tough one to watch.
Jaycee Dugard, the brave young woman who was kidnapped at age 11 and held against her will for 18 years, has finally agreed to sit down for her first televised interview since she escaped her captors.
The interview is expected to air sometime in July, supposedly to coincide with the release of her memoir, and as ABC was the network to secure the interview, Diane Sawyer will be conducting it.
This poor girl has such a horrific life story to share. We can’t even bear to think about what she’s gone through in her lifetime. Hopefully, sharing her story will help her find some peace.
