Why, you may ask? Well, because on Sunday, it was revealed that the 37-year-old welcomed her first child with husband Adam Campbell — BACK IN AUGUST! Sneaky, sneaky!

Yup, apparently Miz Mays quietly gave birth to her little one during the summer season and everyone’s just hearing about it now. It’s said the twosome are the proud parents of a baby boy, whom they’ve named Jude.
The crazy thing about this whole situation is that news of Jayma’s pregnancy didn’t make headlines until April 2016. Way to keep a low profile, guys!
In case you forgot, Jayma and Adam first met back on the set of the 2007 flick, Epic Movie, and ended up getting married that same year. So sweet!
Nonetheless, the Ugly Betty alum isn’t the only celeb who has secretly given birth this year *cough* Eva Mendes *cough*. Although we may be bitter about Jayma keeping this baby update a secret from us, we honestly couldn’t be happier for her and her husband.
