It’s a boy!
On Tuesday, Jeff Goldblum and wife Emilie Livingston took to Facebook with a sweet snap (above) to announce the birth of their little one.
Ironically, the Independence Day actor’s lady had the baby on the Fourth of July — but the pair broke from convention and did NOT give their son a patriotic themed name.

The happy couple named their baby boy Charlie Ocean.
They shared:
“We’re so excited to share the wonderful news of the birth of our son, Charlie Ocean Goldblum, born on the 4th of July. Independence Day.”
What a unique middle name!
We hope for the couple’s sake their infant sleeps as soundly as a peaceful Ocean. LOLz!
This is the duo’s first child together — they were married in November 2014.
In fact, the Jurassic Park star confirmed back in January that they knew they were expecting the day before their wedding. Aww!
Emilie seemed to enjoy her time pregnant and remained relatively active on social media up until the birth of little Charlie.
In a blog post, the actress wrote:
“Loving the journey to motherhood! Seeing my body change to accommodate and grow our little boy is too sweet for words. I’ve had the best pregnancy I could have ever asked for and now I’m ready to meet our little boy.”
Congrats to the entire Goldblum family — your little guy is adorable.
