Police Activity Seen At Epstein Island -- What's Going On??

Police Activity Seen At Epstein Island -- But It's Not Related To Jeffrey?

What is going on at Epstein Island?!?

TMZ obtained footage of several police boats at Jeffrey Epstein‘s former private island, Little St. James, located in the United States Virgin Islands. In the video shared on Wednesday, one police boat can be seen cruising up to the island while another law enforcement vessel is already docked there. Take a look:

Yeah, so that’s not normal!

The outlet reached out to Deborah Hodge, the Chief of Police for the Virgin Islands Police Department, to figure out what’s going on — and it turns out there IS something under investigation!

WHAT?!

Here’s the craziest part, though. While Deborah confirmed that the Virgin Islands Police Department’s response was connected to an active investigation, she said it is NOT related to Epstein. Huh??

Gotta admit, that’s a bit unexpected considering so much about Epstein is being reexamined amid the release of the Department of Justice‘s investigative documents on him. There have even been calls to investigate his New Mexico property, Zorro Ranch. So, naturally, when folks saw cops rushing to the island, everyone thought the worst. But we guess that’s not what’s happening here. Not right now, anyway.

The Chief of Police wouldn’t give any other information about what the investigation is about. The only other thing she said was that the police department doesn’t have access to police helicopters, which is why they utilize boats, as seen in the video.

If you don’t know, Epstein’s island was infamously known to be involved in his sex trafficking scandal. He took girls, including minors, to the island where they would be sexually assaulted by him and his friends. Despicable.

After his death in 2019, his estate sold the property to billionaire and founder of Black Diamond Capital Management, Stephen Deckoff, in 2022. The investor originally announced (shocking) plans to turn the place into a world-class resort, but that’s gone nowhere. We wonder what’s in need of investigation?? Hmm.
