Well, THIS is not the direction anyone saw coming!
After headlines exploded this week over Jelly Roll’s split from wife Bunnie Xo following a decade of marriage, fans were bracing themselves for a heartbreaking statement, a tearful confession, or maybe even some shocking new details. But instead, the country star decided to handle things in a way that only he could!

On Friday, the Save Me singer uploaded a YouTube video titled “The Divorce Vlog,” immediately grabbing the attention of fans who have been desperate for answers ever since news of the couple’s divorce filing became public.
Right from the start, Jelly Roll seemed aware of exactly what viewers were expecting, saying:
“What’s up YouTube, guess who’s back? Y’all didn’t think you were going to hear from me this week did you? I bet y’all were like, ‘There’s no way we’re gonna hear from Jelly Roll this week. He’s in the middle of a divorce. There’s no way we’re gonna hear.’”
The singer also addressed the swirling rumors in the video’s caption, promising to give fans the truth directly rather than letting gossip take over:
“Welp. I got divorced. Y’all have seen the headlines. Heard the rumors. Read whatever your cousin’s friend’s coworker said on Facebook. I’m not gonna sit here and pretend none of it happened — but I also think y’all deserve to hear it straight instead of through fifteen rounds of telephone. So okay, y’all — let’s finally talk about this.”
Naturally, viewers stuck around expecting a major reveal. After all, when someone titles a video “The Divorce Vlog,” you assume there’s going to be some serious tea spilled!
And Jelly Roll definitely played into those expectations. Toward the end of the video, he teased:
“Alright y’all, I told ya I was going to give you y’all the piping hot tea about the divorce. I know ya’ll been waiting. You ready for it?”
What happened next, though, was the ultimate curveball.
Rather than launching into a dramatic explanation, Jelly Roll revealed that Bunnie herself was on hand to chat! He then turned the spotlight over to his ex who popped up in the video, by saying:
“Mama bear, tell them where to find it.”
Bunnie happily obliged:
“Alright guys, head over to my YouTube, ‘Dumb Blonde’ pod, watch ‘The Divorce’ podcast. All of your questions will be answered.”
And then came the moment that probably left fans laughing out loud, with Jelly Roll saying:
“Yeah, y’all thought we were going to hate each other didn’t you? Plot twist, bitches!”
Wow!
The biggest shock here may be how united these two still seem despite ending their marriage. Instead of trading barbs or fueling speculation, Jelly Roll used the vlog to send viewers directly to Bunnie’s podcast — and support her platform!
The pair even wrapped up the call by telling each other they loved one another, making it crystal clear that whatever happened between them, there doesn’t appear to be bad blood.

According to Bunnie’s own account on her podcast from the day before, as we’ve been reporting, the split was not caused by cheating, a rumor both she and Jelly Roll have publicly rejected. Meanwhile, Jelly Roll also told concertgoers this week that the two remain best friends and emphasized that no infidelity occurred.
So, while many celebrity divorces turn into messy public spectacles, this one appears to be heading in a very different direction.
