Jenna Dewan is officially starting a family with her new man!
On Tuesday, the dancer/actress and her Tony winner boyfriend Steve Kazee announced they’re expecting a child together, telling People about the big news:
“We are beyond overjoyed and couldn’t be happier to be expanding our family!”

The little one will be Jenna’s second kid, as she shares six-year-old Everly with ex-husband Channing Tatum. The couple’s coming beb will be the Broadway star’s first, but it sounds like he’s already amazing with kids!
Last we heard, Steve has been “bonding” with Everly, as a source said to the publication at the time:
“Jenna thinks he’s great with her daughter.”
He’s ready for daddy duty!
While the pregnancy announcement may feel like a bit of a whirlwind since it wasn’t even a year ago when it was revealed these two were an item, an insider dished in October 2018 they had already been “dating for a couple [of] months.”
With their big news out now, we can only hope the duo will be giving us updates on the bun in the oven on social media! The Resident starlet has yet to share the announcement on her Instagram, though she did share pics from the Create and Cultivate event in San Francisco on Saturday:
We’ll be staying tuned for pics of the baby bump!! Or at least we can hope!
Unlike ex Channing’s relationship with Jessie J, Dewan has been keeping things pretty private when it comes to her man.
A source recently spilled to People:
“Jenna’s relationship with Steve is very serious. So many things had to work for her to even consider dating again. And everything has clicked with Steve.”
The confidant continued:
“[Steve] is very supportive of her as a mom. He is amazing with Everly. Jenna loves having Steve around. She feels very lucky to be dating him.”
They should both feel so lucky, especially as they start on this new journey together!
Let us remind you it was only back in April 2018 when Chan and Jenna announced their split by writing on social media:
“Hey world! So…We have something we would like to share.
First off, it feels odd that we have to share this kind of thing with everyone, but it’s a consequence of the lives we’ve chosen to lead, which we also happen to be deeply grateful for. We’re living in an incredible moment in time, but it’s also a time where truth can easily get distorted into ‘alternative facts.’… So we want to share the truth so you know that if you didn’t read it here then it’s most certainly fiction.
We have lovingly chosen to separate as a couple.”
Their joint message went on:
“We fell deeply in love so many years ago and have had a magical journey together. Absolutely nothing has changed about how much we love one another, but love is a beautiful adventure that is taking us on different paths for now. There are no secrets nor salacious events at the root of our decision — just two best-friends realizing it’s time to take some space and help each other live the most joyous, fulfilled lives as possible. We are still a family and will always be loving dedicated parents to Everly. We won’t be commenting beyond this, and we thank you all in advance for respecting our family’s privacy. Sending lots of love to everyone, Chan&Jenna.”
Hopefully Tatum will be feeling excited for her, too!
