We are dismayed to learn this wasn’t the first time the plane responsible for Jenni Rivera‘s tragically fatal accident showed worrisome signs!!
The Learjet that killed the Mexican-American singer apparently malfunctioned in 2005 as well!
It turns out that, while taking off from Amarillo, TX in 2004, the plane experienced a fuel system malfunction which caused one wing to weigh more than the other! Mercifully, there were no injuries related to that mishap!
This news is extra heartbreaking because perhaps it means this calamitous tragedy could have been avoided!
Law enforcement officials found Jenni’s identification along with that of her 78 year-old pilot Miguel Perez at the scene of the accident on Sunday night. The cause of the crash is still unknown.
The aircraft and the singer were both 43 years old.
We continue to extend our sincerest well-wishes to Jenni and the other passenger’s loved ones.
