Jennie Garth Confirms Tori Spelling Is OUT As Podcast Co-Host -- As Insiders Reveals Whether Their Friendship Is Over Too

Well, now it’s official.

After fans spent weeks wondering why Tori Spelling had disappeared from 90210MG, Jennie Garth has finally confirmed her longtime Beverly Hills, 90210 co-star is officially done with the rewatch podcast. Oh, no!!

And it also makes us wonder: is there some behind-the-scenes drama between the longtime friends?!?!

We’ll get to that question in a second. But first, the sad reveal.

On Friday’s brand-new episode of the podcast, Jennie and co-host Amy Sugarman decided it was finally time to clear the air. Amy began by explaining:

“As everyone knows, Tori has not been here for a bit, right? She’s not been doing the show for a bit for many reasons. About two weeks ago, she made the decision — which I’m sure was a really, very tough decision for her — but she let us know… she had decided she wasn’t going to continue with the podcast.”

According to Amy, the choice was “100%” Tori’s decision. And while that’s certainly disappointing for fans who were hoping the famed TV duo would finish revisiting all ten seasons together, Amy made it clear they’re supporting Tori’s next chapter.

As Amy put it:

“We can be really bummed, disappointed that she’s not going to do seasons 9 and 10 with us, with you, while still wanting her to be happy and to be excited for her about the things she is working on and does want to do.”

For her part, Jennie didn’t hide that she’s heartbroken about the change, admitting:

“I’m sad that she’s not finishing this out with us.”

Garth continued:

“We started it together and I’m sad about that, if I’m being honest, which I always am. But I’m also really excited for the podcast to come in to [seasons] 9 and 10 because I know we have a lot of great stuff in store… Also, I’m really happy for her. I’m excited for her to choose herself.”

Amy also revealed the announcement wasn’t a surprise to any of the women involved, explaining:

“We had all decided together that today was the day we were gonna tell everybody. That’s why we’re letting you know, right now, what’s happening.”

So sad!

Of course, once news broke, fans immediately started wondering if something happened between the two actresses. Did the podcast split mean their real-life friendship had also hit the skids???

Well, apparently not! Per Page Six, an insider insisted later on Friday that there was “no falling out” between Jennie and Tori, and that they’re still “great friends.”

The source said Tori is simply stepping away from the podcast to focus on other opportunities — which is basically echoing what both other women have publicly said.

Us Weekly also cited a source who explained a little bit more, claiming:

“Tori has not participated on the podcast in recent weeks, but Jennie is passionately excited to continue to rewatch.”

The podcast, which launched in 2020, reunited the former co-stars to revisit the beloved teen drama that ran from 1990 through 2000. And while Tori won’t be sticking around for the final seasons of the rewatch, it sounds like this is more about new career moves than any friendship fallout.

Which, hey, we’re definitely glad to hear that part!

Now, here’s wishing Tori the best with whatever comes next, and hopefully these two stay close pals off the mic!
