Jennifer Garner's Trainer Talks Post-Baby Bod!


It seems as if one of the biggest obstacles that new moms have to face (after having and then taking care of their child) is to get back into shape afterwards.
Don’t get us wrong — the weight gain is often a necessary part of being pregnant and there is NOTHING wrong with that.
Jennifer Garner has kids and knows this all to well — so she enlisted Valerie Waters to train her back, making use of that buddy system we talked about!
Here’s how Valerie says she did it:

“She’s looking so amazing right now. She looks strong and sexy, and I like that she’s rocking her Lycra again! The first couple workouts were 15 to 20 minutes. Getting out of the sweats and into the leggings was a big step.”

Soon, they moved on to 40 minute sessions 3-4 times a week!
Oh, and the kids get in on it too!

“We have tiny little weights for them, and they’ll come in and lift them over their heads. They’re so cute and they definitely like to do what Mommy likes to do, for sure.”

As far as diet goes, Garner sticks to mostly organic food with little processing — and she eats fresh veggies constantly:

“Jen can cook, so she’s able to make healthy meals that are balanced. She makes the most perfect scrambled eggs, with a little avocado on the side. We’re at a fine-tuning, sculpting stage now. She’s strong and can kick it into gear ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ no question, bring it on!”
