Jennifer Lawrence Bluntly Discusses Nude Photo Leak: 'I Feel Like I Got Gang-Banged By The Fucking Planet'

Jennifer Lawrence felt more than violated after her private photos were hacked and leaked in 2014.
In fact, the invasive experience is one that the Hunger Games alum is “still actually processing.” J.Law opened up about the harrowing nude leak for Monday’s episode of The Hollywood Reporter’s Awards Chatter Podcast.

Understandably, Miz Lawrence took a strong stance while discussing the violation, as she shared with the podcast:

“I don’t know, I feel like I got gang-banged by the fucking planet ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ like, there’s not one person in the world that is not capable of seeing these intimate photos of me… You can just be at a barbecue and somebody can just pull them up on their phone. That was a really impossible thing to process.”

Man, oh man. We can’t even begin to imagine how one gets over something like this.
Still, the mother! actress wasn’t alone amid this scandal as several other A-listers had their private property leaked to internet. While many celebs banded together for a lawsuit, Jennifer made the shocking decision to not participate in the suit. On why she didn’t pursue legal action after the leak, the Oscar winner explained:

“A lot of women were affected, and a lot of them reached out to me about suing Apple or suing [others] ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ and none of that was gonna really bring me peace, none of that was gonna bring my nude body back to me and Nic [Lawrence’s former boyfriend Nicholas Hoult], the person that they were intended for. It wasn’t gonna bring any of that back. So I wasn’t interested in suing everybody; I was just interested in healing.”

Fair enough. Regardless, the controversy has weighed heavily on Jennifer over the years. She continued:

“I think, like, a year and a half ago, somebody said something to me about how I was ‘a good role model for girls,’ and I had to go into the bathroom and sob because I felt like an imposter ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ I felt like, ‘I can’t believe somebody still feels that way after what happened.’ It’s so many different things to process when you’ve been violated like that.”

Apparently, it was Lawrence’s security that alerted her about the hack:

“When the hacking thing happened, it was so unbelievably violating that you can’t even put it into words. I think that I’m still actually processing it. When I first found out it was happening, my security reached out to me. It was happening minute-to-minute ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ it was almost like a ransom situation where they were releasing new ones every hour or so.”

What a traumatizing situation to be in. Oof.
Jennifer made it a point to avoid doing projects with any major sex scenes as she felt so vulnerable after the criminal hack. Lawrence’s upcoming film Red Sparrow will be her first hyper sexual movie following the trauma.
The blonde starlet noted:

“[The film] was really sexual, which has always scared me. I’ve always been like, ‘Absolutely no way’ ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ especially after what happened [with the nude hack] ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ ‘no way am I ever gonna do anything sexual.’ So, for me, doing Red Sparrow├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ I felt like I was getting something back that had been taken from me.”

Thankfully, the man behind the massive hack, named Edward Majerczyk, has since been sentenced to nine months in prison. He was also tasked with paying one celeb victim’s $5,700 counseling bill.
