How Did Jennifer Lawrence Know Cooke Maroney Was THE ONE??

Jennifer Lawrence has had a few high profile relationships — an actor, a director, a rock star.
No big blowout dramatic breakups that we know of — they’ve all just sort of faded away. Most seem to have remained friends (and even costars).

So what makes this one so different??
In case you missed it, perhaps due to its complete lack of spectacle, the Hunger Games star is engaged to be married!

After less than a year of dating, JLaw confirmed back in February she’s taking that next step with boyfriend Cooke Maroney.
So what’s so special about the 34-year-old art dealer? At only 28, how is she sure he’s *the one*??
At Tuesday night’s Dark Phoenix premiere Entertainment Tonight caught up with Jen and asked her just that, point blank.
Without hesitation, she answered:

“Well, he’s just the best person I’ve ever met in my whole life.”

Come on, Jen! About A Boy is standing RIGHT THERE!

Ha! We kid, but the exes are actually doing really well.
Nick, who had his first child last year with lingerie model Bryanna Holly, reportedly got along famously with Jen at the premiere after party — ZERO awkwardness.
We told you her past relationships just kind of fizzled.
That was before this guy, obviously. With Cooke it’s going the other way, and FAST! On getting engaged, Jen told ET simply:

“It was a very, very easy decision.”

Awww!
Jen wouldn’t say much more than that. As for Cooke himself, he’s trying very hard to remain out of the spotlight.
His social media is all private, he’s rarely photographed at any events. Note Jennifer was solo on the red carpet at her big movie premiere.

Luckily we’ve gotten a little more about the couple’s chemistry from other sources over the past few months.
One told ET just a few months ago:

“Jennifer and Cooke’s romance is a bit like a fairy tale. They had an instant attraction the moment they met and we tease them it was love at first sight.”

But first sight isn’t everything. They are also apparently perfect for one another day to day:

“Things couldn’t have worked out any better because they have so much in common and truly hit it off. They both come from close-knit families — Cooke in Vermont and Jennifer in Kentucky — and then left and built successful careers. They both love to travel but also just enjoy just being alone together.”

Sounds like everything was quick and easy this time because it was just… right.
