These hackers better watch out because they’ve got more than a few people after them!
News went wild this weekend when nude pics of Jennifer Lawrence, Kate Upton, Victoria Justice, and more were leaked to the public after a hacker somehow managed to get access to all these photos.
Now, it’s been reported that there may be a link between the leak and Apple’s iCloud!
Apple has already had to fix a bug in the Find My iPhone app, which possibly gave the hacker access to the celebrity phones. However, Apple’s job isn’t ending there with this big scandal because iCloud might also be involved:
“We take user privacy very seriously and are actively investigating this report.”
We’re not sure if the investigation will make users feel better, but we sure do know Kirsten Dunst isn’t too happy with the company as she took to Twitter to comment on being one of the victims:
Thank you iCloud🍕💩

And while hackers might not be afraid of Apple, they should be afraid of the FBI who is also handling this high-profile scandal. An FBI spokesperson commented:
“The FBI is aware of the allegations concerning computer intrusions and the unlawful release of material involving high profile individuals, and is addressing the matter. Any further comment would be inappropriate at this time.”
This sounds super serious as it should!
We can’t imagine the hackers will be able to hide from the FBI for long!
We sure hope justice is done for these stars who were victims of the hacking.
