Well at least Jennifer Lawrence got to win something last night!
The Best Supporting Actress nominee lost out on her second straight Oscar to the BEYOND talented Lupita Nyong’o. But when it comes to Twitter, there is just no one who can beat J.Law!
Everyone’s favorite klutz racked up the most tweets during last night’s 86th Academy Awards. The American Hustle star beat out Brad Pitt, Matthew McConaughey, Cate Blanchett, and Sandra Bullock for the most mentions on the social media site during the ceremony.
But out on the red carpet, Twitter claims another blonde beauty beat out Jennifer for the most searches!
What?! Even after falling for the second year in a row?!
Apparently the girl and gown that everyone wanted to talk about before the show started was Charlize Theron!
Makes sense – that black Dior dress was to DIE for!
All in all, there were more than 14.7 million tweets worldwide containing terms concerned with the Oscars. Even though Gravity lost Best Picture, they received the most mentions, followed by Frozen and the big winner of the night, 12 Years A Slave!
With a show as AH-Mazing as last night’s, it’s no wonder so many people were talking about it!
