People sure are still ravenous for some Hunger Games delights, cause the DVDs are selling like mother lovin’ hotcakes!!
The already insanely successful adaptation of Suzanne Collins’ equally famed book has already sold 3.8 million DVD/Blu-ray discs in its first weekend, beating out The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 1, which moved 3.2 million, and Eclipse, which sold 2.7 million in December 2010.
Congrats allll around, especially to Panem’s main mockingjay, Jennifer Lawrence!
And now that the tributes are reaped characters are cast, the Quarter Quell location sets are chosen… let the Hunger Games Catching Fire filming begin!
Jennifer was recently spotted jetting off from LAX to Atlanta, where The Hunger Games’ sequel Catching Fire is currently beginning production.
And you KNOW Katniss is flying all up in that first class cabin, now that she’s getting a major pay-raise!!!
Ahhh we are just burning with anticipation for Catching Fire!!!!!
But, unfortunately, we’ll have to wait until November 2013 to see this epic installment in action… siiiiigh.
Check out more snaps from Jennifer’s airport arrival (below)!
