It seems like everybody can’t help but throw in their two cents on the Tom Cruise–Katie Holmes split, including their celeb friends!
In a recent interview, Jennifer Lopez revealed that she was “stunned” to hear about the A-list couple’s divorce and has been thinking A LOT about them both.
Jenny, of course, can empathize with Tom and Katie, seeing as she had split from Marc Anthony just last summer!
J.Lo stated:
“I’m sad for them. They’re both really lovely people, and just like Marc and I, it’s not what you want to happen. You fight and you try and you try until you realize you can’t anymore.”
The positive pop songstress wished the two nothing but the best in the midst of the breakup and also expressed her concern for not only the couple’s six-year-old, Suri, but Tom’s kids with Nicole Kidman, as well!
Mz. Lopez revealed:
“You know I just wish them peace in their decision. And really for Suri and their other children as well, because you become such a family. It’s not just Suri, it’s Connor and Isabella and everybody; you all become a family. And when that breaks apart, nobody wins; everybody’s heartbroken in some way. And I just wish them peace.”
Breakups are never easy, let alone when kids are involved in the picture!
While no one knows what’s in store for Katie and Tom’s future, it seems that Jenny has FINALLY settled on hers!
Earlier today, she announced she’d be stepping down from her judging position on Idol!
We wish her the best on whatever she has planned next!
