Jennifer Lopez recently opened up about her new album, Love?, and claims that her fans will be surprised by not only her variety of pop and urban influenced tracks, but also by her vocal ability, which she asserts to be better than ever!
She reveals:
├óΓé¼┼ôI├óΓé¼Γäóm very proud of who I am as a vocalist from where I started. The voice was always there, I was just so insecure about it in the beginning. Marc [Anthony] helped me so much because he was the one who was like, ‘You have a beautiful voice.’ I think people are gonna be surprised with some of the vocals on this album. There├óΓé¼Γäós even songs on this album that when he heard the demo, he was like, ├óΓé¼╦£You├óΓé¼Γäóre gonna sing that?├óΓé¼Γäó When he heard my version, he was like, ├óΓé¼╦£Wow.├óΓé¼Γäó Tears in his eyes. ├óΓé¼╦£I├óΓé¼Γäóm so proud of you.├óΓé¼Γäó I always kind of play in both worlds because that├óΓé¼Γäós how we grew up, so that├óΓé¼Γäós always in my music. There├óΓé¼Γäós other very urbanny-type tracks on it. Don├óΓé¼Γäót worry. Booty shakers, mid-tempos, feel-good [records]. I have some Tricky and Dream stuff.├óΓé¼┬¥

It definitely sounds as though she worked with some very talented people and pushed way beyond her comfort zone to achieve some material that may not normally be expected from her!
That’s exactly what we like to hear, bb! It’s so important to grow as an artist!
