Well, if she’s turned them down so consistently over the years, we doubt she’ll be crying about this now!
With the third episode of the current Absolutely Fabulous revival wrapped up just in time for the London Olympics, and a movie version in the works, creator Jennifer Saunders has revealed that despite having quite a few celebrity cameos on the series throughout the years, the only one to be banned is none other than Madonna!
But only because she always says no when they invite her!
She explains:
“We have had loads of celebrities who have said no to us, but always Madonna. Madonna is the bane of our lives. In fact even if she said yes now we would have to turn her down. Madonna has always said no – and so are we.”
Aww! Such a SHAME!
We bet our Madge would be nothing short of HIGHlarious if she went tit-for-tat with Edina and Patsy!
But hey! Who knows?!
Maybe if gurlfriend comes around and expresses interest Jennifer Saunders and the entire crew will, too!
