That business fell through!
Now that Oprah Winfrey is dedicated herself to her OWN network, details about what kinds of shows will premiere in the fall are finally coming to light. The big news today is that Jenny McCarthy has actually ended her production deal with Harpo Studios to create a syndicated talk show. According to a rep from Harpo, the deal was in place, but both sides “mutually agreed several months ago not to move forward with the project.”
Sad face! Jenny and Big O always had such good chemistry when Jenny would come on her talk show. Oh well.
All is not lost for the show, at least. Rumor has it that Jenny is taking her slice of daytime pie to NBC and is currently in talks with their development department, though nothing has been confirmed by either side yet.
