Interim coach of the New York Knicks, Mike Woodson, who hopefully will lose the interim tag since he lead the team to an 18-6 regular-season record, talked about the issue everyone seems worried about…
Will Jeremy Lin be coming back to the Knicks for next season?
Will people still be able to make Lincredible “Lin” related puns?
Coach Woodson said:
“Will he be back next season? Absolutely. Jeremy’s a big part of our team. The future is very bright for him.”
Lin hurt his knee March 24th and had surgery in April, but that won’t affect his eligibility next season.
Woodson continued:
“There’s still room for growth. He’s still gotta learn the NBA game and what it’s about and playing at a high level. There’s no doubt in my mind that he’s a smart enough player that he will get better in time, but he needs the reps just like all young players.”
So wait… Lin is gonna get even better?!
Does that mean the puns will get better too?
Probably not… but we can hope. LOLz!
