Here we go again!
Jeremy London is apparently on the run from the police in Palm Springs after his ex-wife Melissa Cunningham called 911 and claimed that the actor “inflicted an injury on her” during an argument about their son’s custody!
According to Sgt. Reed of the Palm Springs PD:
“London has not yet surrendered himself to the police and we currently have patrol and detectives investigating the case further. A warrant has not yet been issued for his arrest in the alleged assault but depending on what happens during the course of the investigation, then that may be an option. Under California law if a person assaults their spouse or the mother of their child then it is a felony. During the argument London had with the woman, she sustained minor visible injuries to her hand but refused emergency care.”
However, a rep for London has released the following statement:
“This accusation is a false allegation and no such abuse occurred. However, we understand that the police have to follow protocol in issuing an arrest warrant, which is completely standard when any woman complains of domestic abuse. These allegations will soon be proven false.”
Well, that’s well in good, but then WHY HAS HE NOT TURNED HIMSELF INTO THE AUTHORITIES?
Or maybe he was just abducted and forced to take drugs again?
Ugh. Here’s hoping this will all get resolved quickly!
