We’re not sure what’s going on with marriage these days, or why the religious right are so keen to “protect” it if half of them end in divorce, and a whole bunch of them end before a year has gone by!
Jeremy Shockey, NFL player, has decided that 8 months was a good enough try after having pledged his life to Daniela Cortazar-Shockey. He claims his marriage to her was “irretrievably broken.”
At least he had the foresight to know he wasn’t going to take it seriously, and to make her sign a prenup where she gets nothing!
Marriage is turning into game, just like the one he plays for a living. LOLz!
