Michael Jackson‘s older brother Jermaine Jackson filed paperwork in court Tuesday to legally change his name!
Ooh, ooh! We wonder what fabulously exotic new moniker he will choose?
Bartholomew Guggenheim? Vincent van Yo? Henry McTurkeysausage?
How about…. Jermaine Jacksun?
Uhhh, what’s the point of that? To distance himself from the family, but just a little?
Sounds like his days of living in MJ’s shadow are definitely coming to an end middle!
It’s hard to believe a man who named his son Jermajesty would be so cavalier about this sort of thing, LOLz!!
JJ’s reps defended the move in a statement, claiming “artistic reasons.” It said:
“It’s just the spelling, one letter. It is a personal choice of Jermaine’s and it’s not a big deal.”
All right, if you say so!!
The statement from Mzr. Jacksonsun’s reps continued, reference a forgotten Jackson 5 song.
It continued:
“Phonetically, it changes nothing. It is something he has chosen to do, and it’s fair to say that you cannot blame this one on the boogie, you’ve got to blame it on the sunshine.”
And there you have it!
The boogie is NOT responsible!
