Jerry Sandusky is going to jail for a very long time — 30-60 years — for molesting a slew of young boys while part of the Penn State football administration.
Not before at least one of the victims spoke his mind, though.
Here’s what Victim #4, who might be the most important witness and someone who had a 5 year relationship with Sandusky, had to say:
“You were the person in my life who was supposed to be a role model. I can’t begin to express how this has screwed up my life. Because of you, I trust no one and I will not allow my own child out of my sight for fear of what might happen to him.
“I don’t forgive you for what you did. I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to forgive you, but I hope that the others who were abused after me will forgive me for not coming forward sooner.
“Rather than take responsibility for your actions, you attacked us. You have no morals.”
We are so glad you came forward, #4, and we are so sorry that any of this happened to you at all. Your courage will inspire others, and we are so happy you were able to confront that which tormented your for so long.
Thirty to sixty years is a long time in prison for a man already in his late sixties.
