A CVS in the garden state admits that, for the past 60 days, it has accidentally handed out pills for breast cancer treatment to young children, instead of chewable fluoride tablets. Big difference.
Don’t get too worried. Despite the fact that one pill helps prevent tooth decay and the other blocks the female hormone estrogen, experts say the kids probs won’t suffer any health problems.
In a statement, the company said they’re “deeply sorry for the mistake that occurred,” but they didn’t explain how the mistake happened.
We’re just glad the mistake wasn’t the other way around!!
