A show insider explains it all, saying MTV really wants to get the Jersey Shore gang together for a clean-up special in Seaside Heights following the devastation of Hurricane asshole Sandy.
Luckily, the Jersey Shore house was able to survive the storm, but countless other homes lost themselves in the Frankestorm. And that’s where MTV wants to come in and help.
Revealing the plans, the source explains:
“The honchos at the network think it would be a tremendous boost for Seaside Heights as the town begins to rebuild to have the kids be a part of it. Of course, this is all in the very early stages at this point and these are very informal talks that are underway. Interestingly, the producers think they won’t have any problems getting Snooki, Deena and J-WOWW to agree, it’s the boys they are concerned with getting, especially The Situation. However, it wouldn’t be necessary to have the entire cast reunite if the project does go forward.”

Yes, it would be wonderful if everyone could come together in the name of community service, but if they can’t, we’ll still enjoy watching it!
