As you’ve heard by now, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro will be back for MTV‘s Jersey Shore Family Vacation, but his ex Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola will NOT be!
It always comes back to those two, right??
And it sounds like the 32-year-old has opted out of the cast’s group text for a reason similar to why Sammi won’t appear on the show.

Ronnie told Us Weekly:
“You know when all your friends and an ex is on group text, I don’t want to associate. I am a lot more grown up now, so why put myself in positions where everyone is uncomfortable?”
In case you don’t remember, the two started dating in 2008 and were on-and-off until 2014!
So he must be thrilled the starlet isn’t joining the house!
Regardless, Ronnie says there’s no bad blood between him and his Jersey Shore castmates, dadding:
“We are all good. We don’t talk everyday, but once we get in the same room, we all go back right where were when we were in our young 20s.”
We wonder how it will all go down this year!!
