Remember that gnarly fight Jersey Shore‘s Ronnie Ortiz got in during season one??
Well, the punch that was heard around the world has come back to bite him in the butt!
Ronnie was indicted by a grand jury on Friday and was charged with one count of third-degree assault, which could lead to a sentence of up to five years in state prison.
According to Ronnie’s rep, the indictment came as a “complete shock” and his “attorneys have been in contact with the prosecutors office” as they are “waiting to see the documents.”
Hmm, seems like someone thought he was going to get off scot-free! We’re sure his lawyers are scrambling for a plea bargain at this point. We wonder what the rest of his Jersey Shore cast mates think about this!
